Century RIDE- 90 MILE RIDE....
This 90 mile ride along the Oregon Outback Scenic Bikeway route takes cyclists through a sparsely populated and peaceful scenic wildlife landscape. For those looking for a challenge, the Tour de Outback Century experience will not disappoint (100 miles, 5700 ft. elevation gain). Starting at the Lake County Fairgrounds, warm up with a 6 mile ride through beautiful north Goose Lake Valley. Twist and turn up the first 1,000 ft. climb of the day, past Warner Canyon Ski Area and Camas Prairie to Camas Snow Park. Refer to Metric Century and Beginner Rides descriptions for next 65 miles. On the return trip, arriving and departing again from Camas Snow Park, the Century dishes out a 4 mile gut check (1,000 ft. elevation gain) up forested Walker Creek drainage, with a couple short 8% pitches, to serene Bull Prairie at 6700 ft. The final 17 miles whizzes by in a blur as you scream down 2,350 ft. of a hard earned thrill ride to the finish.
Ride includes: 4 Aid stations, 4 additional water stops, and Sag Wagon support.
